I’ve bought a few things over the past few days so I thought I would do a haul post!
I ordered two items from Space NK. I’ve been wanting to try them out for a while, but they are a little pricey so I held off on buying them. Then a few days ago I saw a $20 off coupon for Space NK that’s good until August 18th on Elle Fowler’s Blog, and decided to go ahead and buy them.
The first item is Darphin’s Aromatic Purifying Balm. The Second is Rodial’s Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Moisturizer. I’m really excited to start using both of these, I’ll do a review after I’ve used them for a while.
Next up is Sephora. I went to Sephora to buy a new bottle of this nail polish remover.
This is Sephora’s Instant nail polish remover and it is my all time favorite nail polish remover. It’s the kind that has the foam that you put your finger in to remove the polish. This is the third time I’ve repurchased it. It says on the bottle that this nail polish remover “is magic!” and I couldn’t agree more. I’ll post a review on it in the next few days.
Next, I picked up two of Urban Decay’s new Lipsticks, the Revolution Lipstick. I got the colors Fiend and Naked.
After I use them I’ll post a review with some pictures and swatches. I’ve read some great reviews about these lipsticks and I really hope they live up to the hype! Urban Decay is actually having a contest on instagram right now. If you post a picture showing off one of these new lipsticks you can win all 22! Are you going to enter the contest? I think I might enter!
The last item I picked up is a drugstore item. It’s Covergirl’s clean glow blush in #100 Roses. It looks like it will be a really pretty natural looking blush. I can’t wait to use it.

This week’s nail polish is L’Oréal’s Colour Riche in #107 Royalty Reinvented.
Purple is my favorite color and I really couldn’t resist this beautiful creme purple nail polish. It applied well, I used two coats, although it was almost opaque after one. If I had applied it more evenly I probably could have gotten away with one.
Last week I wore a different L’Oréal nail polish, Orange You Jealous?, and it ended up peeling off in large pieces from my nails. I think the issue had to do with using a topcoat I don’t normally use. This week I used my normal topcoat, Poshe Super Fast Drying Topcoat. I’ve been wearing Royalty Reinvented for a few days now, and I’m not having the peeling issue this week.

Nail Polish No Buy Update – 4 weeks since I last bought nail polish!
I have quite long hair. I’ve been growing my hair out for a few years, and I also get highlights about every 4 months, so I like to look for moisturizing hair products that will help keep it in good condition. It tends to get quite dry at the ends and can be frizzy too. This is where Macadamia Healing Oil Spray comes in.
I finally took the plunge and bought this a few months ago after reading and watching reviews of it for months. I’m really liking it so far. It is quite pricey so I try to use it sparingly to make it last. I apply this after towel drying my hair, it helps keep my hair soft and makes it easier to brush through. Instead of spraying it directly on my hair, which tended to just make one area greasy, I spray the product 2-3 times into my hands and then work that through my hair from the middle to the ends. I wouldn’t recommend applying this close to your scalp, it’s a bit too greasy for that.
Macadamia also has a Healing Oil Treatment with a pump, but I thought the spray would be less messy, even though I spray it into my hand and then apply it.
Have you tried this product or anything else from the Macadamia line? What is your favorite hair product and/or hair issue? Let me know in the comments!
The nail polish I’m wearing this week is L’Oréal’s Orange You Jealous? #109. It’s a bright creamsicle orange with some hints of pink. It’s a really fun vibrant summer color.
It applied reasonably well, I did two coats, although it could be a bit thick. Part of my issue with application might be the brush in the L’Oréal nail polishes, I’m really used to using Essie and OPI most of the time.
This continues the theme of bright colors for summer. What is your favorite summer polish or color? Let me know in the comments!
Nail Polish No Buy Update – 3 weeks since I last bought nail polish!
*Note: Unfortunately I don’t have an update photo from last week’s nail polish, Essie’s Cute as a Button, because I ended up chipping a lot of it off myself. Hopefully this week I won’t chip my nails on purpose and can provide a wear photo for this polish.
